2007 Grantmaking: The 2007
Grantmaking process was both competitive and at the Frances
P. Bunnelle Board’s discretion. Two competitive grant
cycles were conducted. The first grant cycle for 2007 was
completed in April. The second and final competitive grant
cycle for 2007 was completed in November. Strategic Grants for 2007
focused on encouraging positive
youth development.
2006 Grantmaking: The Bunnelle Foundation awarded
over $2 million to 34 nonprofit groups in 2006. Grant amounts ranged from $5,000 - $200,000.

Since its inception the Bunnelle Foundation has granted more than
$4.8 million to support those organizations working in Georgetown County,
SC to improve the quality of life for its citizens.
